Eminem has had numerous hits since his debut album "The Slim Shady LP" in 1999. Sadly for fans, he hasn't released anything new since his best of "Curtain Call" album in 2005. There is speculation that Eminem is planning on retiring from his rapping career, hence the name "Curtain Call", to become a producer and label executive. On MTV music he recently announced that he is not planning on retiring, instead just taking a break to focus on producing.
The music video for "Without Me", has won Eminem more music video awards that any other song, claiming the Best Direction, Best Rap Video, Best Male Video and Video of the Year at the MTV Music Video Awards in 2002. It also won Best Short Form Music Video at the Grammy Awards of 2003. The song itself, which features on "The Eminem Show" and Curtain Call albums was also a huge hit, reaching #1 in 12 countries including the UK and Australia.
The video itself features Eminem as Rap Boy, a parody of Robin (as in Batman and Robin), trying to save the youth from the bad influence of music, making fun of his critics. These include Dick Cheney (and his wife Lynne Cheney), the FCC and MTV, Chris Kirkpatrick (of *NSYNC), Limp Bizkit and Moby. Jenna Jameson also appears in bed with Eminem at the beginning of the video.

What's Paris Hilton doing in a music videos blog you ask? Well, she has a single out, called "Stars are Blind" and it just debuted at #7 on the Australian charts. Incidentally it's currently at #3 in Canada and #18 in the US where it was released in June. Stars are Blind is a reggae influenced track and is the first single released off her debut Album "Paris". The second and third singles are titled "Turn it up" and "Screwed" respectively, both of which are due out around August/ September.
Paris founded her own label, Heiress Records. It is a sub-label of Warner Brothers Records and was created in 2004. She also plans to eventually sign new artists.

Wolfmother is an Australian band from Erskineville in Sydney. They are a "retro-rock" act and are inspired by rock groups of the 1970s such as Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, and Deep Purple.

The music video was directed by Alex and Martin who also directed the White Stripes' "Seven Nation Army" and U2's "Vertigo". The video was created using a technique called colour copy. This is where every image is extracted, printed, colour copied and then put back in order.
"Promiscuous" was written by Furtado, Timbaland, Nate Hills and Timothy "Attitude" Clayton for Furtado's third studio album Loose (2006). It has become Furtado's most successful single to date peaking at number one in both Canada and the United States.
