This is the clip that Simple Plan copied - the original for REM's Everybody Hurts is directed by Jake Scott (son of Ridley Scott). The string arrangement for the song is by legendary Led Zepplin bass player John Paul Jones. The song taps into the same angst that the emo crowd does but offers hope and a reason to keep on going. A wonderful clip for a beautiful song. Enjoy
