Going with the lyrics to this rap ballad the video has Chris trying to say goodbye to an unsuccessful relationship. After much angst he finally breaks up with his beautiful girlfriend and then starts dancing with another woman. Nicely shot it look really good. Enjoy

This video and song are hot hot hot!!! Beyonce in black and white (meaning its her alter ego Sasha Fierce). Great song and such fun lyrics (glad my wife too her advice!). It is beautifully directed by Jake Nava and the choreography by JaQuel Knight shows off Beyonce in all her booty shaking R & B glory. Hope you enjoy this one as much as me (sorry about the slightly smaller format but I have to find ways of bringing you the good stuff.)

I could try and describe this clip but others have done a far better job than I could ever hope to - one writer likened it to a post apocalypse orgy, another described Ms Aguilera as having just descended from an intergalactic hookers convention. If I was going to ad my literary contribution to its critique I might say that while it is directed by photographer bad boy David LaChapelle it looks more like the inside of an Ali G wet dream (AAaaaaIIIII) Whatever your take you have to admit it goes with the nature of the song - its DIRRTY - enjoy (though you might need a bath afterwards just watching!

Well there's another Baz Lurhman extravaganza in the cinemas (Australia) so I thought we would take a look at a music video born of his last film Moulin Rouge. A cover of a Patti LaBelle original it features four of the biggest female names (well they were at the time) in R & B, Soul and hip hop. The clip is produced by Missy Elliot. It uses a set similar to that of Moulin Rouge and they perform in lingerie to mimc the visual look of the film. Enjoyable eye candy. Here it is

101. This Is Why I'm Hot - Mims - Directed by Dale Restighini

Rapper Mims had a big hit last year with this song explaining just why he is hot. Directed by hip hop stalwart Dale Restighini the clip for the song uses high contrast washed out shots coupled together with very fast flashy cutting - an interesting exercise in music video making and the result is quite striking as watchable. The lead singer of the Black Eyed Peas has carved out an incredibly successful solo career - Fergie (of Fergalicious fame) hits us this time with a softer ballad rather than the high energy she is known for). Directed by pop music video favourite Anthony Mandler - this clip is beautifully shot and Fergie looks amazing. Hope you enjoy it.

This song and video brings together a fairly unlikely partnership. The single's video, directed by Chris Robinson, features Busta Rhymes, the Flipmode Squad, and Carey lounging around an expensive mansion as they debate whether they "know what they want". Carey advertises her own brand of jewelry, Automatic Princess. I guess this is the way of music videos with alot more product tie in (a bit like Rihanna's Umbrella song cosmetics deal). 79. Apologize - Timbaland (feat. One Republic) - Directed by Robert Hales

Uber producer Timbaland (the man who made Justin Timberlake's career) teamed up with the band One Republic and re-mixed their song Apologize written by the band's front man Ryan Tedder. The result was great musically. Several clips exist for this song but this is the most viewed version by director Robert Hales (who has done work for Jet and Gnarls Barkley). The use of close up imagery is stunning and your eyes remain fixed on the screen. It's a great clip. Here it is - enjoy

This video seen by more than 10 million people uses the soaring inspiring words of Obama spoken and sung simultaneously by celebrities who endorse. An interesting point - the film clip's director Jesse Dylan is the son of folk singing legend Bob Dylan. Enjoy this clip that will go down in history with the famous election it accompanied.
